We were still celebrating the Women in Wine Awards when a courier dropped off a parcel. To our surprise we had won the Best Organic Wine in the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show, and we hadn't even known!

We hastily looked up the results: Gold and Trophy for the 919 Pale Dry Apera, and a silver for the 919 2015 Reserve Collection Touriga Nacional.

Less than 48 hours after a devastating frost took out the fruit from our award-winning patch of Touriga Nacional, we were awarded Best Organic/Biodynamic Wine of the Riverland Wine Show for wine sourced from that block. What a wild ride!
