Suit & Tie Durif
"A delicious example of Seperavi. An old world Georgian grape holding its own in Australia’s warmer climates. Dark, inky, brooding & glossy. Fine boned tannins linger, with plenty of brightening acidity that keeps this wine nervy, lifted & alive."

"I am buying Eric's Saperavi to put down. He is the best Saperavi maker I have had the pleasure to taste (& I have tasted quite a few). . . . I have followed him across a range of labels and now finally I get to taste him under the 919 label. . . yey. If you haven't had a Saperavi you are truly missing out on a very special wine. . . better than cabsav, better than shiraz and better than durif. . . its in a world of its own. Hunt it down and have some lovely slow cooked meat with it to savour the beetroot and chocolate, plum and mulberry flavours. Yes Eric has done it . . . yes it is rich and textured, with an even, long finish."
